1. New South Wales
New South Wales or NSW for short, has its capital in Sydney which is also a densely populated city and the largest city in Australia, located on the coast of Port Jackson. Tasmania is an island state. Even so, it is still easy to reach from the main mainland. Tasmania’s major cities, namely Hobart and Launceston, have direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Once you arrive in Tasmania, you can drive to get around.
6. Victoria
Victoria is an Australian state whose capital is Melbourne. This state has received the Most Liveable City in the World award several times. The city of Melbourne itself has cultural diversity, a friendly environment, and a modern city view.

Melbourne was founded on 30 August 1835 in the Royal colony of New South Wales by former settlers from the colony of Van Diemen’s Land. Since 1837, this city has become a legal settlement taking the name of the Prime Minister of Great Britain, namely William Lamb, 2nd Viscount Melbourne.
If you depart from Melbourne Airport, you can easily reach the city center in just 20 minutes by bus or taxi. From here, you can explore the Victoria area by car, bus, or train.
7. The Western Australia
The country’s capital is Perth. This place is the largest state in Australia. This state is on the west coast. Some of the tourist attractions are the Kimberley Region, Rottnest Island, surfing areas, and premium Margaret River wines. Perth itself is popular for its quiet beaches, seafood, and parks.
Since 1856, Perth’s status changed to a city. Then, it rose to Lord Mayor in 1929. This city took its name from Perth which is in Scotland due to the influence of Sir George Murray, one of the Perthshire Members of Parliament and Secretary of State for War and Colony.
