With Angelo’s passing, Nick’s son, John, stepped in to help run the family business. The restaurant is currently managed by another member of the old Paragon Seafood Restaurant team, namely Robert Rank. Omeros Bros is a true icon of the Gold Coast and has always prided itself on service, taste, and style. 3. The Tropics
At the north end of the Burleigh Pavilion, there is an amazing full-service restaurant. This eatery is a child-friendly place, from Monday to Sunday and during lunch hours from Friday to Sunday. The next type of menu at The Jolly Roger is burgers. Various choices, such as the TJR fish burger (battered shi, lettuce, and homemade tartare), Angus beef burger (premium Angus beef patties, lettuce, pickles, caramelised, tomato, and house BBQ), and cheese burger (premium Angus beef patties, cheese, pickles, caramelised onions, and house BBQ sauce).
